Small-group Malbec tasting at Bodega Gamboa with vineyard walk, cellar samples, multi-course lunch, and Buenos Aires hotel pickup.

“We had a mixed experience. First, the good part. Our Viator guide was excellent and knowledgeable. The transportation was prompt with a good driver. The food experience was 5 stars! Six appetizers, a main course of meat with salad and vegetables and 4 desserts. The food was cooked on a wood burning oven. Now the not so good. The vineyard is still a work in process and the growing conditions for grapes are not ideal. The wines from Mendoza were fine. The wines from the local vineyard were not so good. If you’re a wine connoisseur you will be disappointed. Unfortunately also, the winery tour was conducted mostly in Spanish.…”

★★★★★★★★★★4.4 · 54 reviews · from $90

See Palacio Barolo at night with a bilingual guide, sip Argentine wine, and climb to the lighthouse for 360-degree Buenos Aires views. 1.5 hours.

“It was an amazing place to see and very unique to see the city up top inside the light turret. The guide was very informative and was excellent at explaining in both Spanish and English for the group. I would recommend an evening tour as you get excellent reviews. But be prepared to walk up 8 narrow flights of stairs to reach the top. It's worth it, but the stairs only wind round and it's not too strenuous. However, keep your head down if tall until you reach the top. It's a good example of art deco style.”

We learned a lot about wine from Argentina, too. We highly recommend this class. A special thanks to Deborah’s colleague, she did a great job and was sooooo nice!”

A small-group Delta day in Tigre with Nelson, a wooden boat ride, a quiet island walk, and a slow six-course asado with wine.

“Nelson from Tigre Grill and Wine was an amazing host. He meet us at the Pier and we travelled by boat along the river to his family’s bush retreat. A lovely walk along the river and we reached a large wooden deck pecked high amongst the trees, with an outdoor dining area and BBQ grill. Nelson’s cooking was a delicious smorgasbord of sausages, sweat breads, steaks, cheese and home made flan, accompanied Argentina wine and soft drinks. A delighted afternoon with a small group of 9 guests where there was time to sit and chat and enjoy the peaceful bush.”
